Location was extremely central honestly is not hard to find if you come out the right gates of Shinjuku station - mind you, the station is ridiculously large. The entirety of the hotel is SPOTLESS. Freebies are incredible. Onsen is fantastic and they provide everything you need as far as toiletries and plenty of laundromats to do your laundry. As a solo traveller this was most definitely an amazing experience, also free booze (for a certain time slot) and curry, rices were delicious snacks! Internet was also fast and very good reception throughout the building. Security (badge access) pretty amazing. I dropped my key somewhere, and didn't realize until a few hours later, when I returned super stressed thinking I was going to get charged, or had my things taken = I walked in to find my key right on my locker and all my stuff was untouched. I honestly cannot thank the staff and the japanese culture enough but also my fellow travelers! Love to you all! Hotel also gave some umbrella covers and shoe cleaning and deodorizers - like crazy amount of amenities! Ruined all other capsule hotels for me forever as nothing has been anywhere near as good!

This is probably my favorite capsule hotel in Japan. I’ve stayed in various capsule hotels in Shinjuku, but this one at Anshin Oyado really made the stay more memorable. The location is very good, being in an active area of Shinjuku and across the street from the main station and about 7 minute walk to Kabukicho area. Curry rice is available during breakfast hours and outside of that, rice, soup, and drink machine are all available. Free alcohol is available after 5:00 PM which consists of various types of liquor and two types of wine. The lounge area is pretty cool and there are also two private work booths that you could rent if available. Check-out time is later than usual at 12:00 PM. You can also check-in around noon and use the lounge area but beds aren’t available until 3:00 PM on day of check-in. Showers are communal which may be uncomfortable for some people, but it’s normal in Japan. There were also plenty of washers and dryers available. If it’s your first time in Japan and you don’t mind taking public showers, then I’d really recommend staying here.

Pros: Affordable cost, clean capsules, close to an important subway station (Shinjuku), friendly staff, free rice/drinks, free toiletries (toothbrush, comb, haircare products, etc.). Laundry (dryer and washer) available at facility with front desk staff willing to break cash into coins for you. Overall, I had an excellent stay. The guests were considerate of one another and the capsules were quiet for the most part allowing for quality sleep (they provide free ear plugs, and headphones for a built in TV inside the capsule; they also include a USB wall fan, and a universal phone charger and adapter were all provided for free, which was an excellent touch). Appreciated having two plug points inside my capsule, and the overall cleanliness of the facility. Also really loved the free 15 minute massage chair available on the second floor. I would absolutely stay at this facility again!

Cleanliness and staff were exceptional. Always saw someone maintaining the space and no areas stayed "dirty" for an extended period of time. The staff were very helpful and respectful, always treating me and other guests with the best service. The facilities and free amenities offered definitely exceeded my expectations. The free food, free drinks/coffee, and free alcohol bar had so many more options than I had originally thought going into my stay. Not to mention the all the free hair care products, laundry detergent/softener, and toothbrushes, combs, and floss. Its a great option for men traveling solo or with other guys to maximize their savings but at the same time getting well over what they had paid for their stay! Overall would highly recommend Anshin Oyado Ekimaeten for any solo travelers in the Shinjuku area!

Can't ask for a better location in Shinjuku. You can see the hotel as soon as you leave Shinjuku station. Bath, Skin care, and Hair care supplies were incredible. I didn't need to open my toiletry bag once while I was staying there. Free drinks (including about 5 alcoholic drinks per night), coffee, soup, and breakfast curry as well. I didn't always use it, but it was great to have. Bath facilities are great. It is a sento (public bath), so you will be bathing with other men, so not the place to go if you are shy. The bath and sauna were spacious and very relaxing. Staff were excellent. Any questions I had were answered, and they even gave me complementary luggage forwarding to my next destination.
